Kimberley Felton founded Onward Immigration in October 2020, a virtual law firm focusing exclusively on Immigration & Nationality Law, with an emphasis on humanitarian relief, removal defense, and family-based cases. She received a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2018 and was admitted to the Minnesota Bar. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & History from the College of Saint Rose in 2014. Kim began her career in immigration by complete accident after stumbling into the Albany Law Justice Center immigration clinic, and she has never looked back.
In October 2020 she opened Onward Immigration, a virtual immigration law firm that serves immigrants seeking to gain status in the United States. She spends her time learning how to better serve the immigration community, seeking to find various avenues to help each client obtain their ultimate immigration goal. Onward Immigration seeks to change the game for what it means to have an immigration attorney, and to change the fractured trust between the immigration community and the legal profession. She is the proud mother of two rambunctious little boys and married to her best friend. Without his unending support, none of these successes would be possible.
Kim is currently a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Minnesota State Bar Association. She is excited to be on the AILA Committee for their annual Tech Summit for this upcoming November 2021. In addition, she has an evolving interest in technology as a means of access to justice, promoting efficiency for the legal field, and alternative representation models.
Onward Immigration provides top-notch legal services to immigrants nationwide. Our online law firm provides us the opportunity to reach anyone at any time through powerful technology.
