SUMMARY:BusinessU: Creative Problem Solving-Navigating the Future with Flexibility and Courage
DESCRIPTION:Event is open to Chamber Members only.In a time when the pace of change is only accelerating\, and the foundations of everything we thought we understood are being challenged\, knowledge and established "best practices" can only get us so far. What is required as much as expertise is innovative thinking\, adaptability\, risk-taking\, and responsiveness. In short: we must be creative. We often think about creativity as an innate individual trait that someone either has or doesn't. But the good news is\, creativity is a set of skills and mindsets that can be learned and exercised.Creativity takes courage\, awareness\, and a willingness to try new things. Creative people are masters of "failing forward\," accepting and learning from outcomes\, expected and unexpected. In this session\, participants will not only exercise their own individual creativity problem-solving skills\, but also learn how to support others in doing so.This session will explore:Frameworks and tools for framing problems in ways that focus innovative thinking\n\nHow to build trust and support motivation\n\nDistinguishing creative mistakes and growth from systemic issues and performance gaps\n\nDeveloping a culture of authentic\, open communication and support that yields creative solutions and opportunities Instruction by Kat Koppett\, Mopco\, LLC koppett.\nTitle Sponsor
