Full-time Position

C2 Design Group is currently seeking a talented Architectural Visualizer/Designer with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience to join our Schenectady office. The qualified candidate will follow direction from a principal or project manager and assist project teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Client(s) and Design Team to plan the rendering process and provide exceptional interior/exterior illustrations and animations
• Responsible for creating visual illustrations that communicate designs and promote C2's Brand effectively
• Responsible for creating exceptional illustrations and animations typically used in sales offices and marketing materials
• Creates Revit and 3DS Max models used for the approval of views and final renderings
• Interfaces with other in and out of house Illustrators, to remain informed and to share talents and skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively with Owners, Architects and Interior Designers to produce exceptional visual renderings and animations
• Supports and interfaces with Design Team to assure an accurate representation of the approved design
• Can create Families of required components within the illustrations
• Assist with all phases of a project from schematic design to construction administration
• Assist with field measurements, documenting existing building conditions to draft/model base plans
• Perform architectural assignments including preparation of plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules
• Assist with project and materials research
• Prepare presentation materials and design boards
• Attend in-house team meetings
• Adheres to and implements firm contract documentation procedures and standards

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture degree
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an illustrator in or associated with an architectural/interior design firm is required
• Possess a high level of expertise, knowledge, and thorough understanding of current industry rendering software including but not limited to: 3DS Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Modeling of FFE, Animation, Octane, Revit, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator and Un-Real Engine
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to learn and be part of a collaborative design team
• Focused on IDP – started documenting progress and is working toward meeting core competencies. May be in the process of completing applicable sections of the ARE
