Assistant Program Director
Unity House of Troy is currently seeking an Assistant Program Director for our 408 2nd Street/TAS program.
This program fosters a structured, supportive environment for individuals to learn daily living skills such as cooking, medication management, budgeting and personal care. The Assistant Program Director will work alongside the Program Director to ensure the program aligns directly with rules, regulations and oversight agency policies. As well as making sure employees follow the company vision, mission and service philosophy.
Responsibilities also include but are not limited to managing site maintenance, daily resident care coordination, completion of intake/discharge processes, and supervision of overnight staff. Supervise medication inventory, weekly medication counts, medication disposal, call in all refills and pick up meds, ensure quality control and training, stock approved OTC’s. Prepare weekly Med Visit Sheets. In addition, this position may also be required to provide direct care services.
Requirements: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field and prior supervisory experience. A high school diploma or GED is required with at least 2 years related experience in the mental health field. Reliable transportation and a Valid New York State driver license with an acceptable driving record as determined by our company's liability insurance policy.
