Summary:     Barbacks support the bartenders and managers in maintaining the bar in preparation for serving our guests. They may assist the bartenders with water service, chips and salsa and clearing as long as their first priority of maintaining the cleanliness and supply of the bar is completed.

Job Duties:

  • Clear dirty settings at the bar top quietly and unobtrusively, checking floor for linen, dropped utensils and debris, wiping and realigning bar stools
  • Always handle silverware by the handles, glassware by the stem or bottom 1/3
  • Assist bartenders in removing full and dirty bus bins from the bar
  • Assist bartenders in pre-bussing between courses
  • Clean and stock station before and after shift with glassware, plates and flatware
  • Change kegs, soda boxes, and CO2 tanks as needed
  • Cut fruit to help stock garnish trays
  • Maintain a polished, professional appearance 
  • Maintain a respectful and cooperative relationship with all other employees
  • Side duties include: changing trash bins and replacing juices, cleaning and maintaining all aspects of the bar

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Outgoing, pleasant personality, and a desire to please guests
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to work in a team environment
