Alaant is excited to recruit a Business Development Associate to join our client in the IT Industry, located in Albany, NY.  

Hours: Monday-Friday regular business hours

Responsibilities for the Business Development Associate:

  • Prospect and generate qualified leads by cold calling prospects and schedule appointments with key stakeholders who make business decisions leading to sales.
  • Understand prospective clients' needs/wants/pain points and provide them with the appropriate information that would assist with their specific needs.
  • Work individually and collaboratively to meet monthly sales goals.


Requirements for the Business Development Associate:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience cold calling required
  • Experience prospecting and lead generation for business development and sales opportunities.
  • Experience building and maintaining client relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience with social media/branding outreach messaging a plus!
