Director, Member Services

Capital Region Chamber Seeks Director, Member Services 

Director, Member Services is responsible for resource development, as well as program and project management. Requires a self-starter and collaborative leader who can work independently, as well in conjunction with team members and members of volunteer-based committees.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

• Solicit and secure sponsorships organization-wide for programming and other initiatives, as well as identify and seek corporate, governmental and foundation support

• Administer the Women’s Business Council, managing 30-50 volunteers to develop and present programming for the WBC annually

• Serve as the liaison to the Nonprofit Business Advisory Group that helps inform the Chamber to best support the work of nonprofit members

• Serve as a resource to all members, providing impeccable customer service

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, with 5 to 7 years of experience in program and volunteer management, and sales/fundraising experience preferred

• Strong project management skills

• Able to manage relationships with multiple internal and external constituencies

• Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities

• Able to exercise strong attention to detail

• An effective communicator in speaking and writing
