Established, global solutions company seeks an experienced Director of Operations, for mission critical construction projects. 


This area is growing and is a high-visibility position!


Will be responsible for managing the services content and logistics of achieving successful customer installations & deployments, and post deployment customer support. 


Working for the VP of Operations, this position will be responsible for managing:

  • Electrical Construction services in industrial and advanced manufacturing environments
  • Security and Video Surveillance systems
  • Telecommunication
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Wireless and cellular services


Responsibilities for Director, Operations- Construction Management:

  • Establish long- and short-range goals and objectives for lines of business development, growth, revenue, sales and individual employee achievements
  • Overall management responsibility for all lines of business
  • Participate in sales activities and architect meetings
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
  • Work with project management and Finance team to ensure timelines and budgets are met
  • Build and maintain an excellent team capable of meeting company’s objectives. You will be responsible for clear communication of expectations and objectives
  • Engage and collaborate with Electrical Estimator for project bidding and business development


Requirements for Director, Operations- Construction Management:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of Construction experience
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience
  • 7+ years of leadership experience.
  • Extensive field installation experience in electrical, telecom and building controls.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling, financial reporting, development of performance metrics
  • Experienced in Commercial/Residential Interiors Structural
  • Deep construction and cabling knowledge
  • Ability to oversee multiple jobs and lead field operations, including PM's, Supers, etc.
  • Ability to work inside the office and outside on sites
  • Ability to interact with all clients in a professional manner
  • Open to some travel (mostly day trips within the state)
  • Effective presentation/communication skills. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and lead a team of managers and individuals
  • Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
