SUMMARY: Develop, operate and maintain all electronic systems. Must have working knowledge of computers and extensive knowledge of building electrical codes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  Operate and maintain computerized fire alarm and lighting systems. Perform monthly generator test. Read and document meter readings. Troubleshoot all electrical problems as they occur. Work with production manager of show to assure that all show electrical needs are met. Maintain all PM programs related to the building’s electrical system. All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 3-5 years prior field experience preferred. Must be certified through an apprentice program. High voltage experience required. Must be familiar with blueprints and have knowledge of local building codes. Requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to access electrical systems. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for inspection of electrical systems and repairs.
