Gateway House of Peace is looking for its new Executive Director!

 Our Mission is to provide a safe, comfortable and caring residence for terminally ill people while supporting their families during their final days. The Executive Director will oversee operations of the home, in collaboration with the Board of Directors. 

Responsibilities include administration, programs, community outreach and liaison, fundraising and strategic direction.
 The Executive Director will:
Develop community partners to assist in promotion and recognition of GWHP in the community.
 Assist in staff and volunteer training programs.
 Foster a spirit of collaboration within staff and volunteers to bring the highest quality of “family” care to our residents and their loved ones.
 Supervise and support the Care Manager and provide general direction for other staff.
 Oversee operations of the Home.
 In conjunction with the Human Resources Committee, create and revise policies as needed. Responsible for hiring, employee relations, training and termination of staff as needed.
 Promote Gateway House of Peace for the purpose of raising public awareness of our home, its financial needs and service to the community through various methods of PR, including social media.
Work with the Executive board to plan for Gateways financial success and future fiscal management.
As needed, assist with volunteer recruitment and retention programs.
Attend monthly Board of Director Meetings.


This position is 25-30 hours/week.
