Facilites Manager

First New York FCU is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the physical care of its headquarters located in Colonie and eight branch locations. The manager will supervise the custodial and maintenance staff and oversee vendors hired to perform work for the credit union. 

Must possess working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry trade skills with at least 3-years’ experience in the building trade. 

Candidate must have strong organizational, negotiating and time management skills. 

This individual will be required to have familiarity with building codes and enforcement.  

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.  

Responsibilities will include focusing on day-to-day operations in relation to buildings and premises, negotiating and maintaining contracts for facilities and grounds care, as well as, coordinating janitorial services and purchasing for facilities. 

Candidate will coordinate the physical security of all facilities. 

Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
