Graphic Designer/Office Admin/Laser Engraver Operator

Looking for an exciting full-time opportunity to be creative and help local companies look good? 

Goldilocks Promos in Latham NY is looking for a full time graphic designer/office admin/laser engraver operator to help with their small business.  

We are a one stop shop for marketing needs including custom merch, promotional products, apparel, trade show signage, awards, and personalized gifts.  

Every day won’t be the same, as you could be packing and wrapping holiday gifts to quality checking thousands of t-shirts to designing menus. Quality is really important to us and what sets us apart as well as our focus on graphic design.    

The ideal candidate would have experience with graphic design. Specifically using Adobe Illustrator.   

The main responsibilities would be to create vendor ready artwork, creating proofs, and vendor ready output files for apparel or promo products and running our laser engraver to produce awards, plaques, drinkware, and more.   

You will be trained on everything so really just looking for someone enthusiastic and can put up with us all day.  

And you won’t be asked to do anything the owners don’t do themselves! 

Other responsibilities would include:  

-Quality checking orders when they are complete for any misprints or errors  

-Answering Phones   

-Help with marketing like social media posts or sending out email blasts  

-Create client presentations   

-Let clients knows their order is complete- email or phone   

-Heatpress apparel with transfer  

-Assist in the design and creation of self promo products  

-Possible pickup/deliveries of orders   

-Ordering and maintaining supplies  

Requirements:  

Adobe Illustrator   

Sense of humor  

Work Location: In person at our office in Latham   

Rate of compensation: $19-21/hr
