Human Resources Generalist

This collaborative role provides you with opportunities to inspire and engage employees, guide and coach supervisors, and contribute to the overall development of our valued employees.  



Serving as consultant to your assigned business units on human resource-related issues, you will assess and anticipate HR needs, communicate needs proactively with the HR team and seek to develop integrated solutions.  Through collaborative partnerships, you will deliver value-added service including:

>   Recruit and Retain quality employees who seek a career with our Company.  Promote Company, screen applicants, and hire talent.  Work closely with management to identify and increase retention with goal of increasing employee tenure.

>    Coach and Guide business unit managers through HR law and employee performance management to ensure Company and HR policies/laws are interpreted and applied fairly.

>    Engage and Develop employees and managers with eye on career growth and leadership development.  Involves skills gap analysis, training, and researching/identifying solutions.

>    Consult and Evaluate on human resources-related issues with business units.  Assist with career pathing, identifying core competencies, and managing job descriptions.   

>    Analyze and Report on trends and metrics impacting business units to develop solutions, programs, and policies.  Responsible for paperwork and follow-through to meet goals.



The ideal candidate for our HR Business Partner will have the following:

>     Bachelor’s Degree in related field

>     4+ years of experience in Human Resources with emphasis on employee development

>     Human Resource certification (SPHR, PHR, APHR) preferred

Your education and experience will support/demonstrate skills including:

>     Quality critical thinking, organizational, and problem solving skills

>     Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; comfort in presenting information on-on-one or in group setting to varied audiences

>     Ability to build solid business relationships and integrate teams toward goal fulfillment

>     Technology proficiency:  Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); working knowledge of ADP HRIS and Cornerstone LMS a plus
