Lab Support Assistant

Alaant Workforce Solutions is hiring a Lab Support Assistant for our international client in the biosciences field! Lab Assistants will have the opportunity to learn new skills, techniques, and take on new responsibilities in a lab environment. 


This is a 6-month temporary role with the possibility of going long-term. The position is located in Rensselaer, NY and offers $20.21/hour!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing basic lab skills including pipetting
  • Running tests and analyzing results
  • Handle samples to log, process, test, and report results 
  • Prepare reaction mixes
  • Maintain and monitor lab equipment


Successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in a science field
  • Any lab experience preferred


Military Occupation Specialty (M.O.S) Code Equivalents:
Army: 74B, 255A, Marine: 4025
