Major Gifts and Grants Coordinator

Our non-profit client in the Hudson, NY area is seeking a Major Gifts & Grants Coordinator to join their team! This is a temp-to-hire role.
Responsibilities of the Major Gifts and Grants Coordinator will include
  • Identify, cultivate, and solicit donors to support fundraising efforts
  • Conduct prospect and grant research
  • Write proposals, reports, briefings, correspondence, and other materials
  • Coordinate special events, including invitations, attendance records, guest speakers, documents, etc.
  • Maintain database and activity records
  • Coordinate strategy to support strong grant pipeline
  • Coordinate grant applications and reports, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications for the role of Major Gifts and Grants Coordinator
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent academic work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and data reporting software
  • Understanding of data analysis and finances
  • Able to maintain a high standard of fundraising ethics
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be available to occasionally work overtime and weekends when needed for special events
