ABOUT THE TEAM

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Track rate locks and request extensions when necessary.
  • Prepare initial Closing Disclosure in compliance with all regulations set by REG Z, TILA and TRID, including tracking confirmation of borrower’s receipt of this notice.
  • Prepare all Clear to Close notice(s), submit to Closing Agent.
  • Interact with attorneys to prepare and/or review the Final Closing Disclosure.
  • Interact with Accounting department to facilitate the release of funds from the appropriate warehouse lines to attorney IOLA account.
  • Ensure the terms on the final AUS feedback report are consistent with the terms in the LOS (within Agency tolerance rules).
  • Interact with internal Servicing staff for the request and delivery of original Notes on CEMA files.
  • Interact with internal Delivery staff to obtain suspense items imposed by Investor.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding in submission of Closing Disclosure to the UCD Portal.
  • Prepare and review final closing costs and escrow requirements with borrowers prior to closing.
  • Maintain complete understanding of investor seller servicer guidelines.
  • Perform special projects and other functions as assigned.

LET’S TALK IF YOU

  • Have an associate’s degree in a related field and a minimum of one (1) year of mortgage experience as a processor, funder or closer, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn other software applications.
  • Can demonstrate a general knowledge of FHLMC/FNMA and FHA Seller /Servicer Guide.
