Job Title: Parking Garage Cashier (Full-Time)
Department: Operations
Reports To: Parking Garage Supervisor
FLSA Status: Hourly

Pay Rate: 15.50/hr
Location: MVP Arena Parking Garage

Summary: This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, directing, and controlling of traffic in the parking garage. Greeting customers as they park in the Garage. Selling parking tickets for facility events and/or day parkers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times
  • Count and verify bank and number of tickets assigned and reconcile at end of shift
  • Greet customers and sell tickets
  • Direct traffic to parking spots as needed
  • Report all incidents appropriately
  • All other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Good communication skills. Employee must be at least 18 years old. Basic math skills needed to calculate monetary transactions for the sale of parking tickets. HS Diploma/GED required. Must have access to reliable transportation. Job may require nights and weekend hours.

Physical Demands: This position may be exposed to the elements (heat, rain, snow, etc.). Cashier may be expected to sit and/or stand for considerable lengths of time.
