The digital workplace is the concept that businesses should use digital transformation (DX) to align technology, employees, and business processes to improve operational efficiency and meet organizational goals. Meant to be the virtual compliment to the physical office space, the digital workplace is a broad term that includes any device, software, or platform that staff members use to execute their jobs. At MVP, we are leveraging Microsoft’s digital workplace technology stack, so key to success in this role is a deep understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, Planner, Forms, and M365.

As part of our team you will be collaborating with coworkers in a dynamic and creative environment researching and implementing digital workplace technologies to champion their implementation within the organization. Leveraging your strong technical skills, you will strategically implement digital workplace and collaboration technology solutions to enable our organization to reach its goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Architecture and design of digital workplace solutions that enable us to turn productivity, communication, and collaboration technologies into effective business capabilities

  • Manage the portfolio of digital workplace products to ensure application architecture is aligned with MVP’s current and future needs

  • Ensure digital workplace solution architecture decisions are made in accordance with relevant technical strategies, policies, standards practices and governance; ensure any deviations are properly identified, addressed, and communicated.

  • Develop and maintain solution architecture artifacts for the suite of MVP’s digital workplace tools.

  • Track the roadmaps of Microsoft and other major vendors to maintain alignment between corporate strategy and emerging technology.


  • Actively identify opportunities to leverage digital workplace technology and data to drive innovation, efficiency, transparency, and quality improvement.

  • Lead demos, training, proof of concept trials, and pilot opportunities to support coworkers in their transition into the modern workplace experience.

  • Execute quick technical feasibility assessments to evaluate customer-identified solutions.

  • Aggregate and present relevant digital workplace metrics to drive adoption.

Research & Development

  • Identify new Microsoft digital workplace product enhancements as they are released; understand product capabilities, positioning, deployment strategies, best practices, and potential risks.

  • Stay current on the latest developments in cloud-based digital workplace technology trends and technologies, with a focus on the Microsoft roadmap and healthcare payer industry trends.


  • Minimal travel between MVP offices, including overnight travel.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or related field. In lieu of degree, 3-4 years’ related experience will be considered.

Minimum Experience

  • 5 years of experience related to IT delivery, software development, or digital workplace implementation.

  • Confirmed technical background in recent and relevant digital workplace technology, including M365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft’s Power Platform, Azure or similar digital workplace technologies.

  • Experience employing various Agile techniques (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc.) preferred.

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
