Christa is looking for a Project Laborer to take up manual labor tasks and support operations at worksites. Reporting to the Christa Project Superintendent, the Christa Project Laborer duties and responsibilities include maintaining a clean site, safe and efficient construction site while supporting the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Commitment to safety
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, standing for long period of time, lifting heavy loads
• Clean and prepare construction sites
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Build and take down scaffolding and temporary structures
• Dig trenches, compact earth, and backfill holes
• Able to or able to learn to operate and tend to machinery and equipment
• Complete assigned tasks from management in a responsible, accurate and timely manner
• Handle multiple materials and various weights following OSHA standards
• Transport materials to and from job sites, suppliers, and others
• Handling power tools safely
• Work varying hours on frequently changing sites
• Erect signage and maintain throughout the duration of the project
• Report on issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
• Communication and teamwork skills
