Status: Full-time, Exempt

MVP’s Quality department focuses on improving the clinical well-being of MVP members by focusing on improving key metrics of care. The Quality department is seeking a fast paced, driven, and highly detailed candidate for the position of Leader, Quality Data EngagementThis position reports to the Senior Leader, Quality Measurement and Improvement, and is responsible for leading MVP’s Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) strategy and operations. This includes increasing and optimizing clinical data collection to continually improve HEDIS performance, clinical data abstraction, and program coordination internally and externally. Applies both subject matter and technical expertise to support HEDIS strategies and goals to achieve high measure performance. Analyzes HEDIS and other quality data results and identifies performance improvement opportunities. Supports Quality improvement and innovation efforts by supporting intervention design, member / provider engagement, and evaluation of effectiveness efforts. Performs other duties as assigned.

This position can be worked as a hybrid position (a combination of work from home and work in the office) or worked full-time onsite in an MVP office location. 


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree required. Nursing degree or other allied health professional license preferred.
Other advanced health-related/business degree or directly related health plan quality experience may be considered
Master’s Degree preferred

Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 3 years prior supervisory/management experience required
5 years of experience in clinical quality required
Experience in HEDIS/QARR/STARS in a managed care environment required
Experience working with claims and/or other medical management focused systems preferred
Project management experience preferred
