
Stewardship Manager
The Stewardship Manager will foster relationships with the ACPHS community of supporters, help to plan, organize, and execute alumni-centered programs. The Stewardship Manager will design and implement a creative, comprehensive, and integrated stewardship program which results in stronger brand connection, better retention rates and higher lifetime giving value. The Stewardship Manager also helps identify programmatic and operational improvements to ensure the department’s continued growth and enhancement.
Required Qualifications
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
· Responsible for engagement and relationship management with current and prospective donors; provide excellent management and prompt follow up.
· Developing solicitation strategies and experiences which connect alumni and donors to the impact of their investments in meaningful, productive and personal ways; manage prompt follow up.
· Coordinate donor and prospect visits including hosting tours, preparing materials and briefing senior leaders as needed.
· Assist with the assessment and scope of new stewardship initiatives including ensuring all stewardship projects are documented and tracked for positive outcomes.
· Assist with the execution of donor recognition and engagement strategies.
· Manage impact reporting for scholarships, endowed funds, awards, and other programs.
· Manage and lead logistics of direct mail campaigns, pledge forms and MOU process. Ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
· Collaborate with staff of President’s Office for stewardship of major gifts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of stewardship programs and initiatives.
- Demonstrated relationship management skills including ability to engage and persuade current and prospective donors; ability to understanding alumni/donor intent in giving and honoring those intentions. Must be personable, energetic and confident.
- Demonstrated communication, listening and presentation skills including the ability to develop brand connection and demonstrates institutional knowledge / integrity.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Ability to implement strategic plans and meet department metrics including.
- Knowledge of database system such as Raiser’s Edge
- Demonstrated organizational, attention to detail and analytical skills including ability to track and analyze donor intent and motivation and ability to make recommendations on findings.
- Ability to work well independently on several projects concurrently, and flexibility to manage shifting priorities.
- Ability to work flexible schedule and travel if needed.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years stewardship management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge software desired

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Salary Range $57,000-$77,000
