Foundations
For nearly 140 years – since we first opened our doors in the spring of 1886 – St. Catherine’s Center for Children has cared for the most vulnerable children in the Capital Region. In the ensuing decades, we grew and evolved, adding new programs and services to meet the changing needs of the communities we served. Today, St. Catherine’s is a leading regional provider of human services, empowering children, families, and adults to lead healthier and happier lives.
The Foundation of St. Catherine’s Center for Children serves to raise funds and find resources to supplement the comprehensive array of programs and services St. Catherine’s provides. Those services support the homeless and those at-risk of becoming homeless, abused and neglected children, students with special educational needs, and parents struggling to keep their families intact.
