Our mission centers on breaking down barriers to entry in snowboarding and the snowboarding industry, offering these youth not only the chance to participate in the culture but also to explore career paths through workforce development opportunities within the industry.
Emphasizing the mental health benefits associated with snowboarding, such as stress reduction, enhanced decision-making, boosted confidence, and improved mood, SHRED aims to support the holistic well-being of participants and the communities we serve by helping provide access to mental health services and counseling. SHRED strives to create a more diverse, inclusive, and mentally resilient snowboarding community, paving the way for future generations to thrive both on and off the mountain.
