13th Annual To Honor & Serve Veterans Breakfast

Join us at the 13th Annual “To Honor and Serve” Veterans Breakfast, a community event not to miss, as we thank those who have served our country as well as those who continue to protect our freedom today.

Regional community leaders will serve breakfast to our honored guests, veterans and active-duty soldiers, and members of the guard and reserve from around the Capital Region.

We welcome our distinguished guest speaker, COL Alain Fisher, the 63rd Commander of Watervliet Arsenal assigned to the U.S. Tank-automotive and Armaments Command.

COL Fisher was commissioned from Kemper Military Junior College as part of the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Early Commissioning Program and graduated from the University of Central Florida.  COL Fisher’s initial assignment was with the 725th Main Support Battalion, 25th Infantry Division (Light), at Schofield Barracks Hawaii.  In his following 23 years of active service COL Fisher completed staff and command assignments in the 19th Theater Support Command, 7th Special Force Group (Airborne), Army Human Resources Command, 3rd Infantry Division, U.S. Army Quartermaster School, North Atlantic Treaty Organization Rapid Deployable Corps-Italy, Army Materiel Command and Army Futures Command.  

COL Fisher holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida, a Master of Science in Military Operational Art and Science from the Air University Command and Staff College, and a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.

COL Fisher’s awards and decorations include the: Bronze Star Medal (with two bronze oak leaf clusters), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (with four bronze oak leaf clusters), Army Commendation Medal (with two bronze oak leaf clusters), Army Achievement Medal (with three bronze oak leaf clusters), Combat Action Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Parachutist Badge and others.
