34th Annual Women of Excellence

Now in its 34th year, the Women of Excellence Awards honors a select group of women for their success in business and their contributions to the community. Six women who have achieved success in their professional careers and dedicated themselves to community service will join the prestigious ranks of the Chamber's Women of Excellence on Friday, May 9th.*  

2025 Women of Excellence

Distinguished Career: Michele Vennard, Board Chair, Albany Convention Center Authority

Excellence in Business Innovation: Kendra Hart, President, Martin Electric

Excellence in Business: Cristene DerBoghossian, President/COO, Camelot Print & Copy Centers

Excellence in the Professions: Dr. Alexandra R. Paul, Associate Professor, Director of Neurosurgical Research and Clinical Trials, Associate Residency Director, Department of Neurosurgery Albany Medical College and Albany Med Health System

Excellence in Management: Lisa Vollendorf, Ph.D., President, Empire State University 

Emerging Professional: Priya Winston Ph.D, LMSW, Director of Curriculum and Clinical Excellence, Arc Lexington Transitions Program

*Each year the selection committee changes, and is comprised solely of prior of Women of Excellence award recipients.
