Data Analytics is designed to alleviate the trepidation of analysis and focus on key identifiers for understanding methods of analysis and how to use exploration and visualization tools.
Clients often say that the biggest challenges they face with data analysis are their need to overcome how to select the data for analysis, how to determine what data to select, and how to integrate the data pieces to provide a story that will provide metrics to build programs and services, provide information for organizational improvements, and drive future opportunities. Even with training in a particular tool, it is difficult to provide proper analysis by checking per-determined metrics on a list. For the non-statistician, it is important to go beyond the tool and truly understand what analysis is important.
This overview course, using Microsoft Excel, is designed to alleviate the trepidation of analysis and focus on key identifiers for understanding methods of analysis and how to use the exploration and visualization tools available in standard business productivity tools.
