Description

Attracting talent is always a challenge, but even more so for the many small businesses of the Capital Region. These companies have a great story to tell and value to offer but get lost in the noise of hundreds of job posts and are overshadowed by larger companies with bigger budgets. This course will equip you with the knowledge and tools to stand out from the crowd and attract the right fit for your business. 

Participants will be given a framework to:

•Establish a strong online presence and employer brand on a tight budget
•Get the most value from your Indeed/LinkedIn/etc. accounts
•Craft effective job advertisements that attract the right applicant
•Conduct better interviews that are more likely to predict success
•Use behavioral assessments correctly (most companies don't)
•Get the most out of references (they ARE useful - just not how you think)
