How does a traditional community balance development pressures alongside the desire to maintain robust local agriculture, family businesses, tranquil homes and quaint, safe residential neighborhoods? 

Saratoga County remains the 5^th fastest growing county in New York State, and that means a lot of changes are happening. Both the Town of Milton and Town of Galway have worked to support and promote family farms. The Saratoga County Fair is held each year within this community. At the same time, business is booming – the Town of Milton has had a specialist on its staff since 2022 to support planning and economic development, while Galway is home to some popular local businesses that attract followers from across the region. And the real estate market is robust too, with more developments being built and others planned. 

How will this all fit together? What challenges lie ahead for leadership? Come join our Inside Milton & Galway panel for a lively discussion on topics, some of which are common across both towns, and some which may differ.

Join us on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 8 - 9:30 a.m. at the Milton Community Center to participate in this exciting discussion with our panelists, sponsors, local businesses, and members of the community. 

This event is presented by the Capital Region Chamber and the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Galway Rotary and Galway Lions Club.

This event is open to the business community as well as Milton & Galway residents.  Admission is complimentary, but we ask that everyone register in advance due to space.  A light breakfast will be provided, courtesy of Adirondack Basement Systems.
