LCR Alumni Gives Back: Patroon Land Farm - Harvesting

This event is open to Chamber members and nonmembers. 

Join us for an afternoon of picking produce at the Patroon Land Farm withe the Leadership Capital Region Alumni. Family, friends and colleagues' welcome. We recommend bringing water bottles, gloves, hats and sunscreen.

This event is for you if you want to: 

• Give back through physical volunteer work
• Work shoulder to shoulder and build your network
• Support a great cause

More information about Regional Food Bank's Patroon Land Farm:

• Witness the high impact results of a Leadership class project. The LTV class of 2014 built the greenhouse high tunnel at Patroon Land Farm, that is still in action today.
• The Farm, managed by the Regional Food Bank, is community and volunteer driven. Volunteers supply 50% of the workforce at the Farm. 
• Since its beginning in 2006. the farm has produced 1,100,00 pounds of fresh vegetables
