The Capital Region Chamber have joined forces with SOTERYX to host a Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Summit on September 27th, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In a post-Covid environment with a looming textbook recession, it is important you take the time to not only work in your business but on your business. It is important that we come together to share ideas, get information and discuss obstacles in order to move forward because we are stronger together than apart. You need the navigation tools to not merely survive, but to thrive.
The Summit will introduce potential sources of money to fund your business, Supplier Diversity teams, and resource organizations within the Capital Region that are available to help you grow.
After a Break-out and Networking session you will see a presentation from the Chambers of Commerce in the Capital Region and The Center For Economic Growth (CEG) who specializes in Manufacturing, Tech, Energy and IT. Get more info about them here: https://www.ceg.org/. Special Agent Vineet Gill will discuss Protecting your business - Cyber Awareness in a Cyber World, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will introduce you to the services it provides and go through the MWBE certification process and beyond. There will also be presentations on Marketing and Communicating your business, and on Wealth Management for your MWBE business
