"Pack" to School Volunteer Event at St. Catherine's Center for Children

Join the Young Professionals Network (YPN) in supporting St. Catherine's Center for Children by helping pack backpacks with school supplies for residential, foster, and homeless students as they prepare for the upcoming school year. Last year, volunteers helped prepare more than 560 backpacks and collected school supplies to support students in need. This is a meaningful opportunity to give back and help students start the school year prepared for success.

Organization Overview

St. Catherine's Center for Children has been serving children and families in the Capital Region for more than 140 years. Through residential treatment, foster care, education programs, prevention services, and community-based support, St. Catherine's helps children and families overcome challenges and build brighter futures.

Important Reminders

• Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in.
• Attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies to donate to St. Catherine's Center for Children.
• Refreshments will be provided during the event.
• Cancel registration promptly if you are unable to attend.

Parking Instructions: From North Main Avenue, turn into the driveway marked “Pastoral Center Parking” and continue to the lot behind the building. After parking, follow the walkway to the main entrance.
