YPN Mentorship Morning Connect & Keynote: The Impact We Have on Others and the World

Tuesday, May 19, 2026 (8:00 AM - 9:30 AM) (EDT)

Description

Join the Capital Region Chamber’s Young Professionals Network on Tuesday, May 19 from 8:00–9:30 AM for a morning of connection, reflection, and inspiration.

This event serves as the closing celebration of the 2026 YPN Executive Mentorship Program, which began in January. Mentors and mentees are invited to come together to recognize the relationships, learning, and growth that have developed throughout the program. At the same time, this event is open to all YPN members, offering a meaningful opportunity to connect, engage, and be inspired—whether or not you participated in the mentorship experience.

The morning will begin with a light breakfast, including coffee, yogurt, fruit & pastries, followed by an energizing guided networking activity designed to spark authentic connection across the YPN community.

We’ll then come together for a featured keynote from Jordan Modiano, titled:

“The Impact We Have on Others and the World”

In this thought-provoking session, attendees will explore:

  • Why high performers often feel like they haven’t made a meaningful difference
  • The psychology behind influence, purpose, and fulfillment
  • How small, everyday actions create lasting impact in teams, organizations, and communities

What if the impact you’re making is far greater than you realize?

Featured Keynote Speaker: Jordan Modiano

Our keynote speaker isn’t just a business owner.
He’s not just a race car driver.
And he’s definitely not just another motivational speaker.

Jordan Modiano lives at the intersection of business, leadership, purpose, and real-world impact.

As the owner of one of the Capital Region’s top staffing firms, the founder of Racers 4 Autism, and a competitive race car driver, Jordan has built his life—and his career—around one core belief:

Success means nothing if it doesn’t translate into impact.

His message isn’t theory.
It isn’t fluff.
And it isn’t something pulled from a book.

It’s built from real experience—growing businesses, leading teams, overcoming challenges, and discovering that the impact we make is often far greater than we realize.

Designed for both emerging professionals and experienced leaders, this session challenges attendees to rethink how they measure success, how they show up each day, and how small, intentional actions create powerful ripple effects in teams, organizations, and communities.

This is a talk about leadership, mindset, resilience, and bold action—and it’s one that doesn’t end when the event does.

Because this isn’t just another keynote.
It’s a perspective shift.

This event is proudly hosted by YPN Executive Mentorship Program Co-Chairs Jordan Dunn and Jen DeGroff.
