Get a behind-the-scenes look at how the Regional Food Bank supports communities across the Capital Region through a guided, immersive visit to their Latham Distribution Facility. We’ll begin with an overview presentation introducing the Food Bank’s mission, core programs, and regional impact, including the important role of Patroon Land Farm. From there, you’ll take a 30–35 minute guided tour of the warehouse to see how food donations are received, sorted, and distributed to partner agencies across the region. The visit will conclude with a 30-minute facilitated introduction and Q&A with Food Bank leaders from a variety of departments. This conversation offers insight into the organization’s operations, leadership perspectives, and current community needs—along with tangible ways to get involved and support hunger relief efforts locally.
This experience offers a meaningful look at the scale of food insecurity in our region and the coordinated efforts required to address it.
