YPN Volunteer Day: Tacos For Life

Join the Young Professionals Network for an impactful day of service as we partner with the Connect Center for Youth, during their annual fundraiser event and taco competition featuring local restaurants and celebrity judges. Sign up for the time slot that best fits your schedule. Volunteers will serve roles such as: set up, traffic control, ticket sales, drink sales, CCFY info booth, trash runner, break down.

This event is for you if: 

• You’re looking for a hands-on way to give back to the Capital Region community
• You want to connect with fellow young professionals through meaningful volunteer work
• You’re passionate about supporting the Connect Center by serving this fun event

The Connect Center for Youth supports ongoing programming and growth for underserved youth in Cohoes. 

“Tacos For Life” has grown to a block party and multi-restaurant competition, celebrating the Connect Center, its students, and the region’s diverse restaurant community. The Capital Region's first true taco competition, area restaurants will compete to be declared “Best Taco in the 518” with participants form Albany, Schenectady, Troy, and CCFY’s own Taco Camp graduates.

Your time and effort will help this event run smoothly and you'll enjoy some free tacos too!
