Accounting Administrative, Support & Clerical

Full-time Position

C2 Design Group is currently seeking a talented Accounting Administrative Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our Schenectady office. The qualified candidate will follow direction from a principal or accountant.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze, review, code and prepare:
  • Input Accounts Payable (Bills)
  • Input Accounts Receivable (Deposits)
  • Follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable
  • Input Credit Card Expenses (Chase, Lowes, Gas Cards)
  • Input Office Reimbursables
  • Invoicing (Liens)
  • Serve as Union Liaison/ Run Union Report and Submit Hours (ICE)
  • Point of Contact for Insurance Renewals and Audits
  • Certified Weekly Payroll (Coordinate when to send)
  • Create New Jobs in Ajera software
  • Prepare travel arrangements, documentation, and expense reports
  • Manage business vendors, i.e. lawncare, sealcoating, window washing
  • Assist owner with other administrative duties, as needed

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5+ years of previous accounting experience; Architectural/Engineering/Construction firm industry experience a plus
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, Business; or equivalent in education and/or experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Deltek Ajera and/or Sage 100 Contractor software proficiency, a plus
  • Proven experience in job costing and project accounting
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with ability to thrive in a collaborative, professional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality

Salary

  • $60,000 - $58,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications
