Bast Hatfield Construction is seeking an experienced Director of Workforce Development to lead recruiting, workforce development, and employee relations for our growing commercial construction company.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit skilled trades including Carpenters, Concrete & Brick Masons, Ironworkers, and Skilled Laborers, along with Site Superintendents, Project Managers, and support staff.
Develop and manage trade, supervisory, and leadership training programs.
Oversee the company's apprenticeship program.
Handle employee relations, workers' compensation, onboarding, and HR compliance.
Build partnerships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and workforce organizations to attract top talent.

Qualifications

Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
Proven HR success within the commercial construction industry.
Experience recruiting skilled trades and construction management professionals.
Strong knowledge of employee relations, workers' compensation, and workforce development.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $80,000/yr - $100,000/yr
