Full-Time: Tuesday- Friday 4:00am start time
Base Pay: $21.50/hr.
Job Summary:
The Driver Trainee is responsible for learning all aspects of Delivery Department standards and
working toward obtaining a Class A CDL, which may lead to a future role as a Driver. Driver
Trainees assists the Driver with whom they are assigned to with safe and timely delivery and
merchandising of beverage products. The Driver Trainee is responsible for providing superior
customer service while performing his/her duties. A licensed Driver Trainee may drive
independently, provide route coverage or provide support to a route driver.
Required Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid NYS Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record that would allow the
Trainee to pursue a Class A License.
• 2 years’ general employment experience, including a minimum of 1-year related
driving and/or delivery experience required.
• Ability to work additional hours, as needed.
• Must speak to supervisor to notify him/her a minimum of 2 hours prior to the
beginning of work shift when calling in sick. Voice mail, text messaging or email messages are not acceptable replacements
• Required to wear company-issued apparel and personal protective equipment
• Responsible use and maintenance of company-issued equipment
