Graphic Designer/Office Admin/Laser Engraver Operator

We have an exciting full-time opportunity to be creative and help local companies look good!

Goldilocks Promos in Latham, NY is looking for a full-time graphic designer/office admin/laser engraver operator to help with their small business.

We are a one stop shop for marketing needs including custom merch, promotional products, apparel, trade show signage, awards, and personalized gifts.

Every day won’t be the same, as you could be packing and wrapping holiday gifts to quality checking thousands of t-shirts to designing social media posts. Quality is really important to us and what sets us apart, as well as our focus on graphic design.  

The ideal candidate would have experience with graphic design. Specifically using Adobe Illustrator. 

The main responsibilities would be to create vendor ready artwork, creating proofs and vendor ready output files for apparel or promo products, and running our laser engraver to produce awards, plaques, drinkware, and more.

You will be trained on everything so really just looking for someone enthusiastic and can put up with us all day.

Other responsibilities would include:

-Quality checking orders when they are complete for any misprints or errors

-Answering Phones 

-Helping with marketing like social media posts

-Create client presentations 

-Letting clients know their order is complete via email or phone 

-Heat pressing apparel with transfers

-Running our UV printer

-Assisting in the design and creation of self-promo products

-Possible pickup/deliveries of orders 

-Ordering and maintaining supplies

Requirements:

Adobe Illustrator 

Sense of humor

Lots of Creativity 

All of the usual positive traits you would want in a colleague

Able to lift 50lbs

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 9am-5pm in person at our office in

Work Location: Latham/Albany 

Rate of compensation: $19-21/hr
