Yes, we build bridges! But the equipment and vehicles needed to get the job done need regular maintenance and repairs. If you have a variety of machinery/mechanic/diesel abilities and willing to show us what you know– then we want to hear from you!

STS STEEL, located in New York, is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a full time Experienced Maintenance/Repair Tech. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, efficiently, and with little direction. But for those machines you’re not familiar with – we can train you. This individual must be flexible in their daily routines, be able to manage multiple priorities, handle stress well while maintaining a positive personality.

Responsibilities include:

* Clean driving record is a plus.

· Perform repairs associated with production equipment.

· Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment.

. Customer Service.

· Occasionally run out for supplies (valid driver’s license needed).

Qualifications:

· Quality, safety minded, reliable, precise, self-motivated.

· Must be a creative problem solver.

· 3 years of mechanical experience preferred.

· Have great manual dexterity.

· Attention to detail is a must.

· Honest, trustworthy, accurate, and dedicated to their career.

Pay and Benefits: $25 - $40 an hour depending on skillset

Hours:

1st Shift: Mon- Thursday -- 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Friday --5:00 am - 2:30 pm
