Job Description

WRGB/WCWN is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant who has strong written and oral communication skills.  In certain scenarios the Marketing Assistant may be responsible for communication with clients directly.  The ideal candidate will be a well-organized multitasker with a passion for assisting others in a workgroup and contributing to the team’s success. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Creation of PowerPoint presentations, database management, and sales report maintenance
  • Input and maintain orders, including revisions due to campaign changes
  • Directly engage with external clients to handle service issues, complains and normal customer service
  • Efficiently work with the team of Marketing Consultants/Management team to achieve goals
  • Effectively work with sales team in obtaining creative materials and generate support materials for local/digital sales presentations
  • Various administrative duties and contract management
  • Must be able to organize and schedule calls and maintain client communication
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word Duties
  • Familiarity with linear marketing, digital marketing, social media and various paid media platforms
  • Learn to perform work using OSi or Wide Orbit traffic systems, Matrix, MediaLine, Ad Connections, Sell CRM, Google Analytics and Outlook
  • Great attention to detail and strong organization skills are essential
  • Strong analytical ability and understanding of data-driven systems
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Able to work directly with clients on resolving issues with professionalism and patience

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
