
Office Administrator
The Capital Region Chamber and its Center for Economic Growth affiliate are seeking an experienced Office Administrator who will provide administrative, operational, IT, and member support for the organization and its teams.
JOB DUTIES
Operational Support:
This position is responsible for making a good first impression for a highly visible organization. As the first line employee that members interact with, the candidate applying for this position must be friendly, professional, resourceful and helpful. Additionally, this position will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence for the Chamber and its affiliates.
Administrative Support:
This position will complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the ability of the President and CEO’s and other organizational leaders to effectively lead the organization.
IT Support:
This position serves as the primary in-house IT contact, troubleshooting where appropriate and coordinating with third-party IT provider when necessary.
Member and Program Support:
This position regularly performs tasks that support all functional areas of the Organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum five years related experience.
Exceptional organizational, administrative, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and to manage assignments through completion with a high degree of success and accuracy.
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a larger team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, and PowerPoint).
Database management experience, with ability to learn membership-specific system.
Customer service experience, with proficiency in techniques to address customer needs promptly
Comfortable using various phone systems for effective communication.
High level of dedication and commitment, and a willingness to “go the extra mile.”
Ability to exercise tact, resourcefulness, diplomacy, and discretion in a variety of situations.
