Position Overview
As a Senior Associate Attorney, you will serve as lead counsel on complex matrimonial and family law matters, guiding clients through critical legal challenges with confidence and strategic insight. You will play an integral role in case strategy, client advocacy, and mentoring junior attorneys, while benefiting from the firm’s established infrastructure and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage divorce, custody, support, and Family Court matters from initial strategy through resolution or trial
Serve as lead counsel in court appearances, hearings, conferences, and settlement negotiations
Develop and execute litigation strategy to achieve optimal client outcomes
Draft and review motions, pleadings, financial disclosures, settlement agreements, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements
Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients, ensuring clarity and confidence throughout the legal process
Mentor junior attorneys and law clerks, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing legal team
Partner with Client Consultation Managers and support staff to ensure efficient case onboarding and progression
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) and admission to the New York State Bar in good standing (or eligibility under reciprocity rules)
Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience; family or matrimonial law experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated courtroom proficiency and ability to manage complex, high-conflict litigation
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and case management capabilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to professionalism, client advocacy, and high-quality legal work
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $130,000–$145,000, commensurate with experience
