Volunteer Mentors

We are looking for caring, compassionate adults (especially males) who have a desire to connect with and guide young people towards their college and career goals. Initial training and ongoing support are provided. 

Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar works with promising, low-income students in Albany, Schenectady, and Troy high schools to help provide opportunity and access to higher education.
